So we most of us have seen Alvarez pound Rhodes for the 12 rounds on Sunday morning....Do you think that Rhodes should continue his conquest to grab a title at 154 or should he simply call it quits? your thoughts!!

    You're a long time retired.

If he has the ambition to carry on at domestic/european level he can do it.

That aint enough for some though, and if he wants to walk, he can do so with his head held high.

But going from Alvarez to domestic/european level opponents will demotivate Rhodes in a way....if he has the desire he should look at other champions at 154 however it will be a long road to get to that point!

There's no point as far as I'm concerned. I don't think Alvarez is "that good" and Ryan did absolutely nothing. Going back to the European level would be a bit shattering, but if he needs money, carry on because he's not horribly shot.

Who would give him another title shot based on him v Alvarez?

Demotivate him? Well yeah.. that's what happens when you lose.

It's completely up to him if he wants to rebuild but I can't see him ever winning an alphabelt belt now unfortunately. If he carries on though.. I can see him in a prizefighter tournament soon.

If he need the ££ then keep boxing on... He could be a good stepping stone for younger fighters!

Agree with most of whats said he should only carry on fighting now if he wants money, hes not gonna get another shot or be able to beat other top guys IMO and im a fan who thought he had a decent chance against Alvarez but he was thoroughly outclassed.

Depends what he wants to achieve. World title ambitions probably out of the question but if he just loves the sport he could carry on at domestic / euro level for a couple of years

he can make a good few quid still, but i think he should forget any world level ambitions

If Rhodes wants to continue fighting there's no reason for him to retire. He's still capable of giving many up and coming fighters a good test.
