And Haye is the one who doesn't have a chin. Nowhere on Wlads record do you see him being knocked down by boxers with the punching power of Mock, Thompson or even Mormeck.

 

Ok what?! Trying to take out Mercer?? Went back to his hands and knees? What the **** fight were you watching. I remember Wladimir pulverizing Mercer and stopping him in the 6th round. Mercer never came close to knocking Wladimir down.

And the Sanders fight ...he was caught by one of the fastest and hardest hitting lefties in heavyweight history. BUT he got back to his feet after every knockdown. The Purrity fight he just gassed himself out against a guy who had a Mercer like chin. He has learned his lesson from that.

All this bull**** talk about Wladimir having a weak chin isn't warranted in my opinion. Has Wladimir ever been knocked out with one shot? No he hasn't. In his three loses did he finish the fights on his feet? (two of those were due to fatigue) Yes he did. ALL the fighters that have knocked him down are known power punchers. Can we say the same about Mock, Thompson? Even Mormeck isn't in Sanders, Brewster, Purrity, or Peters league in terms of power. Not even close.

 

I meant Brewster, but now that you've highlighted that, it's EVEN MORE PATHETIC than if he were beat by Mercer.

Well that is certainly one way...and quite possibly the way he will go if he's brave enough. But that was often thought of as possibly the way to beat Mike Tyson and few tried it...its one of those ways of fighting that will bring a swift conclusion....its a do or die way. And obviously there is BIG risk attached to that way! Is it the only way?? Not sure..but maybe we'll find out soon enough...maybe Adam Booth has a more safer plan to break Wlad...maybe something like his approach against SNV. But that was supposed to be down to a broken hand wasn't it? That why he wasnt that aggressive (apparently) I'm not convinced it looked more like his plan all along to fight that way and the first one or two rounds on july 2nd will show us if thats his plan this time around...or not as the case may be.
