Pavlik and Bute are actually 6'2.

    Ward is 6'1.

    Box rec listings are useless.

He's quite tall compared to who? How can he be quite tall for the division if everyone single person who is a threat to him is within a half inch of his height?

If I understood well, it's not part of the deal. They have planned that Bute could get a fight outside the deal to keep his belt. Out of the deal is the ksy word.

Bute does this fight to keep his belt and make a defense in his country.

Bute will dominate and probably stop Pavlik at this stage. I also think a fight with johnson would have been more desireable. But I am not bitching about Bute like the rest of you. I actually appreciate his talents and will laugh when he goes through everyone at 168! Especailly SOB Ward...

enough whit speculations, lets just compare what bute has done to fighters that other big names have faced before and judge who did better. fights that have bin fought are the ones we should judge on. i am of the opinion that bute has done better than others. and that is what i base my judgement on. i am from montreal and i do like bute. let time do its magic and we will put to rest these crazy opinions some have.

Bad fight for Pavlik!! Bute is going to KO him. Pavlik is nowhere close to his best. I mean even physically he still got to get back to his fittest. Don't see it happening though

There will be a 70/30 split IF the fight goes to purseoffer. If that happens all Sauerland has to do is outbid SES, which should be little problems. Sauerland can generate more money than SES and a share of the additional revenue surely ends in Kessler's pockets.

There are many ways to make an offer.

like someone else said Pavlik went toe to toe w martinez even when he was gushin obviously he got sonned by hopkins, but if pavlik can defend his body i think he's got quite a few chances to land a big right hand

Great fight. Props to both parties for making it. To think people still say Arum protects his fighters (have a look at the resumes of all his hi-profile fighters).
