The right fighters are in the super six finale

I'm impressed with both boxers. I guess Kessler and Dirrel could wringing their hands somewhere.

Ward is a very good boxer,and certainly better than i expected,especially fighting in this sort of company.I'm still not convinced by the Kessler win,sure he was winning,but i'm not sure Kessler was 100%,and he lost his spirit half way through the fight.This was partly due to Ward outboxing him,but also because Kessler thought he was getting a raw deal from the ref.Like you said,Ward seems to have been groomed for the final,since day one.

Froch has certainly made the final the hard way.He was untidy,and seemed to struggle with Dirrells speed in his first fight,and although the Kessler fight was a close fight,i think he would of had to have dominated Kessler to win a decision.Against Abraham he put on a clinic,but i said from day one that Abraham was a blown up Middleweight,and would be bullied by the likes of Froch.

My pick ???

It's hard to pick against Ward,especially if Froch has the wrong game plan,or the ref is anything like the Kessler fight,but Froch keeps winning,and although he isn't as technically skilled as Ward,he does have the jab and reach to keep this fight at distance,and also has the physical strength,and power to bully and hurt Ward.
Is Ward better than the version who fought Bika ?
Is Froch better than the performance against Dirrell ? :think

I said Froch would win the tourney,and i stand by my original prediction.

 

I think the people picking Froch to win deep down dont really believe Froch will win . They just would like to see him win because hes the more exciting fighter which i agree with . But its just wishful thinking,and theres nothin wrong with that .

 

where is going to take place? Don't tell me, Oakland?

 

No disrespect, but any venue in the USA is NOT a neutral venue. That's like saying if the fight was in London or Cardiff if would be neutral when it clearly wouldn't be. East Coast would still be better than out west though

 

Ward should be ashamed that he hasn't yet had to fight away from home, whereas all the others have, some on more than one occasion. Just think of the worldwide respect Ward would have had he won the Super Six by beating two of Froch/Abraham/kessler in their own countries.

 

These 2 are the ones who deserve to be in the final.

Ward pulled off a great win against Kessler and after that he 3 easy(ish) fights in a row (including Bika).

Froch has had 4 tough fights and has won many doubters over.

People rip on Ward for fighting in the USA (even Cali) all the time, and the fact that he headbutted Kessler a lot in his first fight but you can not under estimate what he achieved against Kessler. A great win, even with the home town reffing and the headbutts he proved himself as one of the best.

That said, I really hope the Cobra renders him unconcious.
