how stupid is Andrew Golota?

Disqualifications count as losses. But to say that he got schooled everytime he stepped up is wrong considering that he was up on all three judges scorecards before his disqualifaction. Bearing in mind that he was deducted points as well. Plus he retired Bowe.

 

and about Golota,he seems to have a mental blockade in ring but privately he is a very nice guy and has has a very normal family and life,something that so many boxers do not

 

I remember when Golota was pulled over for a traffic stop and he tried to impersonate a police officer with a fake badge to get out of the ticket.....big fail!

Everything I know about him he's actually pretty smart/charming and a nice guy to talk to (though I've never met him myself, many of my friends are from the same neighborhood as him in Chicago). If I remember correctly, he's also invested his money wisely, which puts him in about the top 5% of boxers out there. In the ring he was an extremely intelligent boxer too. The problem isn't that Golota was dumb, it's that I'm pretty damn sure he was/is bi-polar or had major anxiety issues. Those don't make you dumb, it just makes it a damn shame he never got them straightened out and his potential was never reached. Even so he's properly a HW champion (got robbed against Byrd and Ruiz), but he could've been so much more.

I've met Golota a couple of times. He seems nice but there's obviously something wrong upstairs.

It's sickening how the Bowe fights turned out. Still, he seemed better later and I felt he was robbed against Byrd and Ruiz. Unfortunately, even if he won the titles, assuming the path of opponents remained the same, he would've made Brewster a three-title champion.
Still would've been nice to let him hold a title though, instead of getting robbed, twice.
