First, I didn't read a direct prediction of a Haye win from Roach. I read where Roach spelled out what he thought Haye needed to do in order to have a good shot at winning. Second, I don't think all these quotes are dead-on accurate. It's not like Roach to go on with glowing detail about any fighter, much less one he's never worked with. Plus they throw the word "straightaway" in there as coming from Roach. That's Brit speak very, very seldom used by Americans. I smell something fishy with this whole article.
I do believe, good sir, that you completely missed my point! (which was essentially the same as yours)
Freddie was never a big fan of wlad. He told me once that he thought wlad was more skilled than vitali but the older brother is just stronger psychologically. i didn;t think he was backing up haye. he just basically said that haye can win if he hurts wlad early in the fight and i think we can all agree with that.
just like haye said, "ima fight em like rocky" he gonna get all bustup with them bloody jabs.. just like rocky! but if haye can keep hittin the hook with a few haymakers, ill take roaches word for it about confidence. even wlad said "i wish i could fight.. he knows that he's not exciting to watch. but haye is.. this fight is going to be a K.O either way
The Valouev/Haye fight was the most exciting heavyweight fight in heavyweight history, wish we could have more exciting fights like it..........
i spoke to ali he said if wlad adops his rope a dope style haye hasnt got a chance in hell...are you for ****ing real u tit
I spoke to a random guy on the street........he said if Haye uses his speed and power he will beat Wlad:deal
Kind of weird ... You see, the random guy that I spoke to said if Wlad is sharp he will be able to catch Haye when the Londoner comes diving in.
my granny seems to think theyl hit each other at the same time and itl be the one who beats the 10 count that will win..she also said something about adam booth distracting the ref while haye and grooves beat on wlad for a while think she might have been thinkin about the wrong sport
