was just looking up some random stuff about mike tyson and found out something I didn't know. So we know how Golota stopped fighting in the Tyson fight only 2 rounds in with that freak of nature. Well what I didn't know is that 2 rounds with Tyson and Golota suffered this: http://articles.nydailynews.com/2000-10-23/sports/18161718_1_al-certo-andrew-golota-mariola-golota A concussion, fractured cheek bone, This content is protected as a result of that herniated disk. HOLY SMOKES And we have little keyboard warriors on this forum calling boxers "quitters" when in reality you all have no ****ing idea what fighters are really going through. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVHlMpp97uk[/ame] And this was a way ****ing past his prime Mike Tyson. :nut
Yeah, I read that Tyson broke Golota's jaw. When I saw the punch on the replay, then I think it might be true.
that right hand at the end of the first was monstrous. that would of knocked a horse out. golota always had a great chin but weak mind. the guy was unstable.
damn i never realized how harsh the crowd reacted. I didnt know they threw their drinks at him! Tough love for golota. Damn.
Love how Tyson just knows he was going down when he landed the punch and was already walking to the neutral corner
Good post. An athlete will know his own body much better than a guy on a couch 10 beers deep. Most of the guys who use the terms "quitter" and "coward" and the like are probably keyboard tough guys who either never played sports, or did so so long ago that they can't remember the pain and sacrifice required to do so.
How bout you break your jaw then keep fighting with tyson? ****ing Keyboard warrior This content is protected
Tysons face at the end of the fight was like he was seething cos he'd been denied the pleasure of the KO.
