    Quote today from Trout

""Most likely, probably, we will fight Mundine next in Australia. He is trying to make history as a three-time WBA world champion and I'm trying to make history of my own. He is a right hander with decent movement. He has a good record but has fought mostly journeymen. It would be good money against a good opponent. It would be a two-time world champion and a great opponent to put on my resume.""

Don't know about that mate...choc has slipped a bit...Trout is used to fighting in his opponents backyard to win/ defend his title.....I would give Trout 60% chance of the win...Shame choc couldn't get Alverez for the vacant title...now that was a 80% win chance for choc :good

Thats ok, everyone is entitled to an opinion. You dont have to be special to beat this version of mundine, but i think you are underestimating trout. He has a good strong jab, decent speed, athletic, good stamina, pretty strong, awkward style, punches to the body, aggressive when he gets a sniff. And he's young and hungry. A few negs are that he gets a bit wide with his shots and his footwork gets a bit clumbsy at times.

Mundine is old, frail and weak as water. The only thing he still has is his jab, but thats not going to get it done.

Its an easy call to side with the visitor.

Yeah i saw his athletic abillities & your wright in what u said strong jab, decent speed, stamina, fairly strong, awkward ,does go down stairs & can be aggressive. i did see some other things as well he does get hit alot with right hands & defence can be sloppy at times as lopez showed when connecting with right hands & jabs. altho mundine has lost alot of his power at this weight his right hand & jab are alot faster then lopez & mundine has very good defence i just think trout is going to find it a lot harder to get to mundine cleanly so thats why i give him a good chance. will take back the 60/40 tho more like 55/45 trout in oz 50/50. cheers mate
