ATGs Tribute thread. Pt 4. Virgil Hill

Unlike some of bailey's questionable choices (i.e. Ottke), Hill is a guy who definitely will get into the HOF one day.

Wow...so we've established you can read boxrec.. I'm sure you feel like a real 'expert' writing down that **** straight off box rec and acting lilke you knew who Virgil Hill was before two years ago. atsch

 

How old was Hill when Roy Jones stopped him?

 

Great thread Bailey ..Hill should def get into the Hall of Fame like someone said before if Tysu and Stallone can get in Hill derserves the nod!

 

V.Hill was a very good fighter that would have been a great Middleweight ! The guy started out as a Cyclist that built huge thighs. If he had missed the cycling he would have fought a couple of divisions lower.

 

I was messing with you, I said that they fought at their countries of comfort like Wlad is from Ukraine but his country of comfort is Germany as he's fought there a lot. Hill does deserve props for fighting in someone else's backyard which takes balls to do.

Hill showed lots of courage and still made it a close fight despite losing. Bailey, I LOVE Hearns but if Hill showed more creativity with his punches then I think Hill would've won. That fight was by no means a clinic, both men fought hard but Hearns came out the victor for doing a little more. Keywords, a little more as the fight was very close.

Hill is very underrated and it's a shame most may know him for being stopped by Jones yet he was very past prime then(I admit this as a Roy-a-holic lol). Random but even Reggie Johnson who gave my other boy Toney all he could handle was very past prime against Jones.

 

Obviously this is Bailey's rather transparent attempt to reform his image from contemptible troll to acceptable boxing fan, but anyone with a brain can see that anyone who can read boxrec can type out one of these threads, they take no knowledge, insight or evaluating skills whatsoever. Still, it's a mighty improvement on his usual horrible trolling embarrassments.

 

Oh yeah, that is pretty obvious. He's desperate to be seen as some kind of 'unbiased' expert on this site. Although his bias is pretty feakin obvious. And his reeling off records, and win streaks...nothing but boxrec. That's not even a commentary on the fights themselves! Bailey's just an insecure bore with no sense of humor. :shock:
