I was speaking in terms of conditioning only, example I've trained and fought in Thailand and can attest that at the time I was there (mid 90's)...
If your happy with his skills teaching then keep him and do what YOU feel is right for you conditioning wise. sounds like you know more about it...
There have been many harder punchers than Louis but none as short and accurate thats what made him deadly imo
