so true, pavlik would have huge problems keeping up with benn. if benn was feeling destructive, it could be over early.
no i dont think that , i dont think either have/had granite chins.. i just think at this stage of pavliks career, benn is better in every departement.
you said similar offensive qualities . have you seen the benn vid that was on here a couple of weeks back ?
they are nothing like eachother at all. both offensive fighters, thats where the similarites end.
i think pavliks too static to keep benn off him. too one dimensional . plus benn always fought better against the bigger punchers. they riled him....
when ? early in his career ?
how on earth do you know that if he's never fought at 170 ?
alot of what hamed did was tongue in cheek though . and he was very humble after losing to barrera .
fair enough but it aint as stupid as saying pavliks achieved more than benn did at MW at this satge of his career . we are talking about nigel benn.
right . i think i'll leave it there.
17-4 benn at this stage . seems people know the score.
we're talking prime for prime, and as far as i'm aware the first taylor fight was pavliks best performance to date.
fair enough it was at 168, does that mean you have to completely disregard it from his career with this question. pavliks got potential, thats all...
exactly, you have to earn the right to be mentioned alongside someone like nigel benn, and he hasn't ,yet. he may do in time, but he's got a way...
if jermaine taylor was close to knocking pavlik out nigel benn would have eaten him for breakfast.
