Ok, try standing on your head backwards while throwing leg kicks and chasing a chicken around a laundromat. That will help you in the ring.
Try skipping rope too. This can simulate the type of cardio you will need in a ring.
I dont see exactly what you mean. If you throw your obliques into a punch hard enough it WILL turn your hip. I think maybe you are over thinking...
