Boxing lost tonight, Fury may well fall apart after this. He has shamed our great sport and practically destroyed his legacy. Props to Ngannou.
Anyone doing a RBR for the Parker fight?
There was an element of good timing on ODLH's part. He met Chavez at the right time, but you can't take anything away from him, he got the job...
No
Joe Calzaghe vs Charles Brewer is a decent scrap.
How would you rank the following and who would win a round robin: Joe Calzaghe Carl Froch Nigel Benn Chris Eubank Michael Watson Herol Graham
I know most of us don't rate Parker these days, but think this could be a pretty decent fight (fully prepared to get wrecked for this).
Would you describe it as competitive until the last few moments?
This is more of a comparison comment than a head to head but thanks for the link
May get a lot of stick for this, but watching Joyce vs Zhang 2 with the old man we both commented on how Zhang reminded us A BIT of comeback...
I think it's more down to technique than power. Max had more raw power but Joe's technique and speed were far superior.
Yeah Toney won well, but if this wasnt a shot Holyfield then it was a very, very diminished version. It barely counts - the early 90s Real Deal...
De La Hoya vs Mayorga SRL vs Duran II Lewis vs Holyfield II (revenge against the judges)
Was also going to say this. Barkley stood up to Hearns, but Benn caught him cold.
Take away all the background noise and focus on the boxing and you get a very good, entertaining to watch fighter.
