Hearns came in too underweight in first SRL fight. If he had actually weighed 147 for that fight, he would have won IMO.
From 1880 throught he 1930's many of the best fighters were of Irish origin. Great tradition.
I think his win over Ron Lyle was very impressive. To win so many fights as old as he was, deserves some respect also.
