Also Brook had never fought at 160 and Golovkin is very powerful so an obvious strategy for Golovkin would be to just walk through the smaller man...
I think it was mainly Brook. He may be smaller but he is better than the other guys Golovkin has been facing and has a different style and attributes.
Yep. It's not as simple as "use the jab" when you're the shorter guy, with the shorter reach jumping up two divisions against an elite fighter.
So anyway, Brook v Canelo, what do you think?
This
I think the combination of speed/timing/power of some of Brook's punches bothered Golovkin at times but he has probably felt significantly harder...
Or because people are not used to seeing anyone have success against Golovkin.
He had plenty of success in the first 4 rounds, more than most people have against GGG. He was landing pretty well, defending well at times and...
Well they could depending on how good the welterweight is and how good the middleweight is.
Some tough potential opponents for him at 154 but he's tough for them too. It's gonna be interesting.
I can't really think of many that have had that injury but I remember with Antonio Margarito's eye injury there was a time when they weren't sure...
If that were true Canelo would have fought Golovkin already instead of looking like a coward and ducking him.
The irony...
