It boggles my mind how many title belts there are to be had in the entire boxing world, especially in the lower weight classes. What's really...
If the Maidana fight can't be made, Katsidis or Bradley (my choice) should be next.
Winning cures a lot of hurt. The only way I'll know if Ortiz is back for good physically and mentally is if he can get a rematch w/ Maidana and...
His contract was not renewed.
I like his response also. No ducking Maidana for sure. He's got the tools to be the top dog in the division.
IMO, the best way to answer this is an Ortiz/Maidana rematch and see how it unfolds.
I think PM will continue fighting although if he did retire, he'll have a bright future as a boxing commentator.
PM said in his post fight comments that he doesn't move his legs like he used to because of him getting older. If that's the case, Ortiz will beat PM.
I believe he can. Khan has the height, reach, speed and that awesome jab to keep Maidana from rushing in. Maidana is a KO artist but he's easy to...
Good call, man. I predicted a TKO or UD for Khan. I wouldn't be surprised if Khan unifies the division titles. I'm confident he can do it.
I think the stoppage was justified. PM, tough as he is, was taking a lot of punishment. A fighter's health should be top priority in these cases.
Paulie's greatest asset is his speed. I think he was surprised at how Khan beat him to the punch all through out the fight.
PM was outclassed and beaten in his own game. He got out-boxed by somebody who just happens to be faster than him.
In the post fight comments, Khan said he'd fight Maidana. I'd like to see this. I also like what he said about not leaving the division and will...
Khan by TKO. Khan's has the height, reach, jab and speed to keep Ortiz @ bay. Ortiz was good tonight but not enough to beat somebody like Khan.
