I know I am in the minority with this but I think Fury would be one of Ali's toughest matchups. He has the tools to offset some of Ali's best...
For me it's the Ali era were heavyweight boxing starts to evolve. And Ali was doing things that it was thought a man his size shouldn't be able to do.
You can really see why both Ali and Wlad were at the top for so long by looking at those fights. They were both physical freaks.
This is a good discussion. Enjoying reading it.
The one against Tony Thompson in the 2012 fight in the video is underrated. Completely comes out of nowhere.
[ I would imagine the 15 was at the time of the of the fight. Thanks. Pulev instead of Sanders who beat Wlad.
Some one else said Wlad had 15 ranked wins.
I never thought of Foreman Valuev lol
In that case Wilder and Fury were pretty bad
It was a good stoppage. Mercer was getting hammered and not responding. Earlier in the fight Mercer was sneaking in a few hard jabs of his own.
One day Wlad might win a poll against Joe Louis and Muhammad Ali that's the next step ;)
Sorry misread the title I thought it read fanbases lol. I am so sleepy today.
.
I am one of the few who liked Wlad's style. Liked him physically breaking down his opponents with his ramrod jab and left hook.
Is there any decent information or number on Liston's amateur record?
