You can't fight everyone.
Do you think it shows a lack of heart not lasting out the last 3 rounds for victory?
I will never understand why Vitali quit, I thought he was winning clearly, he has also shown toughness in other fights.
Also moving up to MW beating prime Hopkins? Scary resume.:yep
If he had won every fight, he could be argued as the GOAT.
He must have been worried about something.. He did quit. Perhaps an Iron chin isn't the most important attribute of a fighter, having heart could...
Joe himself said he wouldn't have beaten Ward easily.. You can throw that idea out with the weekly trash. Looking from a style and skill...
I would probably favor Tua over Jones... Holyfield and Tyson were shells of themselves and would have been beat IMO. Roy has already proven that...
You had lots of even rounds. I try to stay away from that unless I absolutely can't decide who won the round.
But back to your question.. Byrd would have been a 50-50 fight for me. I would also like Roy's chances against Sanders if he could somehow...
My bad, I misread your post.. I thought you were asking who else could have beat Roy at HW.:patsch
Those three were just way too big, too tall, too strong, too much of a weight advantage. And unlike Valuev, they were very skilled.
No way, they were just too big for him.
Vitali, Wlad, Lennox, Tua, most likely Corrie Sanders, possibly Chris Byrd. I would have actually favored Roy over the old version of Tyson.
Quite a few. Though I think Roy could have moved down to CW and picked up a belt.
