I agree about Holmes' natural ability. If Foreman would have beaten Young, I think the Foreman/Holmes fight would be a toss up. The loss to Young...
Maybe FMJ is starting to realize that he doesn't have to play a super villain to sell tickets.......nah, never mind.
Why do say FMJ will get a rematch but not sure about Pac? Just asking.
Here's another scenario even though it's a long shot. MP and FMJ suffers very controversial losses. I think they would be hollering for rematches.
Keep in mind my friend that we are on the assumption that Clay/Ali was never a boxer as I have stated on this thread.
I tend to agree w/ you on this one. If my memory serves me right, Foreman was on the decline in the very late 70's when he lost to Young and...
IMO, no. Only 2 ways he can reclaim the P4P#1 title. If he can beat JMM and MP ( if he gets past Cotto ) or beat JMM and MP loses to Cotto.
Ali/Frazier. I'm not sure but i think up to this day, Frazier still hates/dislikes Ali. I could be wrong though.
Chuvalo, what a tough son of a gun. I remember him fighting Ali and Frazier.
Not that I know of. I got introduced to boxing when I watched the first Clay/Liston fight. As far as I know, Liston beat Wepner in 1970 and...
That sounds about right.:good
Joe Calzaghe????????? You're kidding, right?
Like the other posters have mentioned, JMM looks slower than before, maybe because of the extra weight. I'll have to see the other episodes of 24/7.
I read somewhere that he wanted to have a tune up fight first. Berto and Diaz definitely doesn't fall in the tune up category.
I agree, followed closely by Tyson and Liston.
