Braces won't do much, you need to ice it regularly, 10 minutes at a time, and keep weight off it, let it recover. Braces/supports are just icing...
A neoprene support will keep it a little tighter and keep the joint warm, I highly reccommend them. Whatever you want to spend your money on....
