I sometimes wonder if people unwittingly really want to see the fighter they hate win so they can keep on hating.
People say Froch was visibly hurt by Taylor, Kessler, Dirrell and Groves... are you going to tell me his chin isn't great either?
Even if it was part of the Soviet Union, it was never part of Russia, it was a Soviet republic....
He had a broken jaw.
Glen Johnson has one of the best chins in the history of boxing, an atg chin. Pascal has an exceptional chin. It wasn't cracked by any of those...
Kovalev is a legend though, he's a fckin star. Russian fighters couldn't go pro when they were behind the iron curtain so it's unsurprizing...
Fight Thurman in September.
Vacate. the. belt.
I saw his last fight, he's going to get smoked. Mohammedi doesn't belong in a ring with Kovalev period. This is the down-side of mandatory...
He carries the power to win, and I still think Kovalev is vulnerable to the left hand. I think Kovalev wins, but keeping it real, it wouldn't...
Why do you say that? I think he can but it's unlikely.
old broken hands isn't hurting anybody
he really doesn't, a guy like Huck would blow straight through him
Kovalev has fought at LH since 2005 moving up from MW. I don't think he's a cruiser, bit on the small side.
We hear it for Golovkin and Rigo all the time. Cruiser is a 25lb weight limit jump, there should really be a division in between.
