Sorry about how disorganized/crazy huge it is. I've been wanting to write out a favorite fights list for a while and you gave me some incentive:lol:
Some of my favorites. No order, but i love them as either competitive fights, a great showing on a fighter's part, or because of an awesome KO....
modern nutrition ko1 chewing steaks and spitting them out and brandy mixed with orange juice
Sharkey(glass balls)
speaking of john l, anyone given this a go... [IMG]
Any bob and weaving infighter will be vulnerable to uppercuts. It's just an inherent weakness of that style, coming in low head first. You can...
Stupid assholes are booing you. No class. I mean you are boston, but even then, where's the decency.
Equating a high guard with fundamental skill/technical prowess is just downright silly
Okay. Usually when you think of a boxer-puncher you think of a guy that fits on one side of the spectrum. The Ray Leonards... and the Ray...
bit of a skewed comparison as far as popularity goes dontcha think?
because joe louis is the best possible combination of a boxer and puncher that ever lived. he also had a cool haircut.
A really bomb slugger would be my guess. A ketchel, a prime G-man or Jackson, something like that.
Jack Dempsey was also making a ****ton more than everybody else, though. He was bigger than Babe Ruth at the time, IMO.
Of course they did it for the money. They just didn't get as much of it at one time.
People are talking about PEDS/Steroids like they're a bad thing. PEDS are one of the few things the modern generation has on its' side
