It depends. Some gloves start out soft, and as they age the padding gets compacted making them harder, or atleast feel like they hit harder...

To be fair "Super Bag Glove" is one of their cheaper models. They also have Ultra and Elite which I should be better quality. The ones pictured...
The bag gloves (14oz 'Super Bag Gloves) were good when I first got them but they're worn out now. I got them in November and I train 5 or 6 days...
lol. Don't do it so tight. Put it between two fingers, then make a fist and adjust if needed before going on to the next two fingers.
