high guards...relying on ear muffs..also works better as gloves get bigger.....so sparring it works a bit better than a fight.
well the left hook is the natural 3rd punch to the 1, 2 due to that being how counting is done....lol also....you throw the jab...left shoulder...

I think you had some fighters who used a high guard....and of course plenty of guys who use a low guard today. I tend to think a low guard...

all different....pro's usually weigh in the day before amateurs day of (generally) that makes a difference how much you can cut as far as water...
