It’s as if you’re deliberately avoiding that Lewis beat the crap of Briggs whereas Foreman lost and trying to reduce a prime ATG down to only...
Briggs was better for Lewis than Foreman and Foreman likely would’ve slipped further.
He beat Tackie, Stevie (aging) John John Molina, Leija, Antonio Diaz, and Crayton. It’s easy to argue that it’s a better resume.
Foreman was Savarese level at that point.
I was comparing Lazcano to MAG.
This isn’t how things were. The division belonged to Lewis and Holyfield after Lewis destroyed Golota. I doubt Foreman would’ve taken the fight....
lol at limiting Norton’s stoppage loses to the Foreman fight. I think you have him mixed up with Frazier.
Right, but he wasn’t prime at 160. You could also add Tito to the list if you don’t recognize the DLH verdict.
The post was more about how Canelo was unnecessarily thrown under the bus in the other guy’s post.
Canelo, regardless of whether or not you think he beat GGG.
Honestly, I think Juan Lazcano put together a better career but didn’t get the big fights.
I wouldn’t say Hopkins did. Tito at 160 and a 38 y/o Tarver is a stretch.
Not exactly a feather in MAG’s cap either way.
Chisora. He'd probably become an IBF mandatory or number 1 contender if he beat him.
The difference is that Briggs beat some cab drivers after Wilson and Lewis beat contenders before and after losing to McCall.
