Apart from the 60's I experienced all them fights as they happened mate:lol: It really was a great time.
Tell Jimmy Price that!
I'd say the 60' 70's and 80's. I don't remember the 60's but I got interested mid 70's I suppose, I was about 10. I started reading Boxing news,...
The Rings and Boxing Illustrated from the 60's and 70's are great to read though the BI sort of become all about the heavyweights in the mid 70's.
I used to get The Ring, Boxing Illustrated and Boxing News religiously, sometimes KO. Now I just get the Boxing News.
:good, just watched the Ecklund fight as well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsQ-lx9pKZ0
Just watched Flea's Laguna - Ramos. What a great fight, I found it really hard to score with so much happening and so many swings in each rd....
Duran-Moore
Curry McCrory
Great pick!
Like he said there at the end, he was just trying to get himself up.
I remember him as an amateur and then as a young pro at The Stadium in Liverpool. A good puncher but vulnerable himself. Really come to prominence...
I don't know about willing, maybe aware of the possibility.
I wouldn't imagine any fighter who would say that would really mean it.
