Oh definitely, I would too! If I had a choice, as a boxer, to do 2 days of bag work, or 1 day of bag work and 1 day of strength.. I'd take the bag...
It isn't all that's needed, the point I was making was there are more efficient ways of developing strength, nothing to do with the other benefits...
I agree on all points, and never said they are the be all and end all, but they are the most efficient method of developing strength, that's all.
I never mentioned bodybuilders, those guys have even deeper issues or read too many magazines! Don't associate what I'm discussing with dedicated...
There's probably some deeper psychological issues as well, not specifically with the posters in this thread, but a lot of people fear change, fear...
