How is a small light punching fighter a stylistic nightmare for a massive punching long armed welter??? Honestly sometimes you Floyd fans....
Floyd goes on vacation. Manny goes to sleep.
Ok this has nothing to do with the final outcome but more to do with styles and the amount of work / effort it took Floyd to take control....
Hopkins didn't want anything to do with the 175's when Jones was up there. Tarver was a weak champion who just got lucky on a shell of a legend.
They said that about the 21 year old Trinidad when he decapitated Campos. its different levels my friend it really is.
Hatton gets beat by a quick counter puncher. Styles makes fights , he outworks Cotto is a pretty one sided affair.
What were you watching??? Merchant is undefeated against Floyd.
Hatton got worse over the years , but prime for prime I go for Hatton , his speed and movement was that bit better. Cotto's boxing skills...
Mayorga smoking a cigarette after smoking Forrest :)
Yeah Hatton was an A class fighter , OK got hammered against absolute prime Mayweather and Pacquioa, but who didn't at that stage.
He doesn't last three rounds. He hammered a bigger better version in Vargas. Canelo only does ok now due to it being a **** poor era.
Yes the guy could have been one of the greats but his move to heavy put an end to that.
Firstly it was a really great night for British boxing , really enjoyed it. However when I watched the fight again this morning I think Coyle...
Not many go the distance with him , he doesn't look it but I think he is pretty heavy handed.
This makes sense , to keep GGG off him he would have to throw bombs , and when those bombs land it wouldn't be pretty.
