Hagler-Ayala
I loved how Monzon ruled the 70's, but I just don't think any of his challengers, top quality that a lot of them were, as anything quite like...
I'm inclined to go with Pea, as he just seemed more consistent. Although, an Edwin bomb just might make things interesting......
I go with Ray, mainly because the weight gain would work against Pea. Still a great "chess game", so to speak.
A prime Hagler and young Ayala. Duran at LW.
Will Ike's right hand prevent a homicide?
Oh I musn't forget Steve Gregory, the man that took Kalule the distance!
Herrera, too! Hearns?! Oh, how the innuendo makes one ponder.....
Why is a hitman picking on a simple onion farmer?
Tony Ayala of course....I thought his lashing of Cuevas would've made a believer of everybody!
Being that Mugabi is naturally bigger and hits considerably harder, and at a weight considerably higher than LW, Roberto is a bit disadvantaged...
Yes, Ray, as well as Ali.
20-year old Tony Ayala and prime Hagler. It's scary to think of what they would do to the likes of Calzaghe and B-Hop.
When 14 year old Tony Ayala bashed up WW champ basher Cuevas. Also, when Tony was on the verge of making it big in the early 80's. Any fighter...
Shame that these two top WW's of the 70's never met.
