Norton-Holmes round 15. One of the great heavyweight rounds.
This I can envisage, Tommy with the Kid's chin and everything else he brings to the table.
Willie Pep and Mike Tyson. Pep's boxing abilities combined with Mike's power and killer instinct. Having said that I do find this hard to envisage.
I think its not beyond the realms of possibility that prime Nelson could have beaten Sanchez. I think its always a bit unfair comparing fighters...
What about Larry (the peanut) Holmes? Here is a fighter with an unusually small head who took a great shot. He did have a big face though.
This is me in the avatar aged 23 months(1966). Early introduction into boxing eh!
Fighting Harada had a big head as well. Don't think there are any pros or cons to it though.
Chuvalo for me. Stands up to Ernie's pick shots then comes on for a late stoppage or points win.
I fully agree.
I was at Holligan-Neary too, a great night.
Duran-Moore
Lennie and Ray Mancini
Pintor against Gomez
I agree, I'm not saying he didn't deserve to be in there. I'm just talking about the actual fight. I think most of the fights mentioned in this...
I stick with my opinion. At no time to me did Oscar look like he was in with a chance.
