A PPV over here doesn't get anything for DAZN. They would sell the fee rights but they wouldn't that much.
I have doubts that would be PPV. A UK fight yes but 5am? BJS isn't that popular.
Long time ago. Canelo since then has only got better and better. BJS since then has only got worse.
Simple supply and demand. Anyone in the same position would be doing the same thing.
If you got 1 million people ready to buy a fight on PPV...
Understood but as I said one could argue paying for a sky subscription is silly when iptv is an option.
Personally I don't really care what...
Reality check. Eddie Hearn is not the only promoter putting on ppv's.
Again what makes someone silly for paying for a PPV?
This could apply to...
Doesn't matter though as there are more than enough who will buy it.
The vast majority of people that buy fights on PPV are not hardcore fans....
Shouldn't you be furious that they are both on PPV?
Just seems odd BT wouldn't have locked that in. They knew Fury was going to fight Wilder again and it was only going to take place in America.
So any Fury fight in the UK has to be on BT sport but US is open to offers....
Doesn't top rank have a deal with BT?
Feb/March is too cold for a stadium fight as well as the football season is still going on.
This will help!!
Easily? I'm not sure it will be easy at 5am.
If we look at AJ's buy rates we see the one fight where the numbers took a hit was vs Ruiz in NYC....
What. That's insane.
That isn't what Joe Miller @ DAZN said.
His was ecstatic and was quickly talking about how they want to do more youtube/celebrity fights.
If BT can't make good money with this fight they might as well give up on PPV.
When Warren signed his BT deal he wasnt looking to be #2.
That guy has been on a crusade to take matchroom down for years. He committed to...
BJS also turned it down
Eddie has the money to get the fights made.
What he said about the price was interesting in relation to BT having to maximise as much revenue as possible due to how much they had to pay for...
Its difficult to gauge the numbers. Without knowing how BT box office has done previously I just don't know.
Will be interesting if the legal action Galahad has taken also includes Warrington.
