Extremely. Simple, effective fighters are ALWAYS underrated. The aesthetics of a fighter's boxing style doesn't automatically equate to being better.
Also, Hagler wanted his biggest pay day (more than SRL) and let Ray have the ring size advantage. Marv lost before the fight started.
