Threads like this make me lose hope in today's boxing fans. You guys are some gullible *******s if you sincerely believe Floyd belongs at the top...
Margarito and Paul williams would have kicked his ass too.
Are we really surprised? You gotta be on something to distinguish yourself on the world class stage.
He was indeed removed from his prime, but he was still a damned good heavyweight. He ruled the heavyweight division throughout the 70's.
A lot of new, pop culture boxing fans in here. Frazier easy.
I agree. As it stands, Groves' confidence will be riding at an all time high. Compared to being pummeled and stopped in the late rounds.
Can't say it made much sense. And on paper, Rashad was all wrong for Sonnen stylistically. He had absolutely no respect for Sonnen's striking.
Taylor always gassed late. He would do well early but get stopped late.
this fight sucks
I'm picking Provo. We'll have to see what Rios has left after the Pac beating.
I'm convinced many of the posters in this thread never saw Roy fight in his prime. Let alone Hearns at 160.
Gary Russell has one of the weakest resume's in boxing.
If by destroy you mean 12 rounds of pot shotting that never puts Matthyse in danger, than yes, Floyd destroys him.
Of course, Floyd beats everybody on paper. Hypothetical match up P4P king!
And it's over. I would say his record is padded except for there aren't many good heavyweights outside of the top 10.
