    Trash-talking is found to be somewhat entertaining to that demographic... It appeals to a lot of people though... And it gets people talking! The whole point is to get people all riled up! We see his quotes and comments talked about EVERYDAY here on ESB...

    It makes sense, especially with the dancing in the stars bit.

    I think that if one figure can transcend boxing that it can help the sport too (Because your get to know who he fights, the big players in the sport, etc). Although, I think Floyd did it out self-interest rather than trying to help spread and preserve boxing. It could've benefited, though.
