Yeh we've had a fabulous 7 high profile years from the little feller & he's fought them all...won/drawn/lost & ducked no one & the irony here is that we can thank Floyd & Oscar for Manny's & Uncle Bobs/Top Rank re-instatement to the ascendency of boxings heap all due too them failing too agree on the $$$$ split for the re-match.

Goldenboy had it near on all sown up what with the HBO/MGM tie-in & Hatton promotions on board for there assault into mainland europe to take on Saurland/Palle to acheive Global domination for GBP & not in there worst nightmares could they have ever invisiged how it would all come crashing down & all due too Mayweather going into false retirement & DLH having to fill that HBO date & picking easy fodder in pac who had just had his 1st fight at lightweight.

DLH & Hatton was a done deal in the UK in front of 100K crowd at Wembley Stadium/London or Old Trafford/Manchester once Oscar had brushed Pac out of the way. But Pac sending Oscar into retirement & wiping out Hatton ended that GBP dream & i bet Oscar is laid there at night chewing on the pillow & saying to himself why did'nt i cut a deal with Floyd & now we have Top rank ruling the roost & Pac coining it in big time for them both:lol:

I doubt Floyd will entertain a fight with Manny, it would have happened by now & Floyd's getout will be going for Martinez at 160 saying he can't make 147 anymore & putting as much distance as he can between him & pac, either way Floyd knows he'll make big $$$$ & he'll always stick to the bull**** cop-out of accusing pac of being on peds so as too save face. He don't care as he knows once pac's gone then Floyd can rule the roost & love him or hate him he knows you'll pay & pay you will.

Regarding Manny......all good things must come to an end & if he's to fight one more time then let it be Marquez & then depart & receive the acclaim such as that is heaped onto Lennox Lewis by leaving at the very top as a world respected champion:smoke

For the people debating whether he did or did not carry, him, it was one of the first questions he was asked after the fight. And he answered: Yes. He said theres no point in terrorizing his opponent when he already knows he won it.

By the way, I've always had my own theory, that Manny carried Hatton the entire 2nd round of their fight. When the 10 second warning came on, it looked like something snapped in Manny, and boom, he knocked Hatton out almost as if he chose when he would do it.
