Roger Mayweather said that. If this is true the beating will be worse than I thought and I thought it would be bad. Lets just hope Mayweather does not peek too soon.

  2. That's a shocking thing to come out of a training camp before a fight.

Roger is funny, but he always says what he means. He's gotten on Floyd for not fighting consistently as well in the past. If Floyd comes to fight like that, I don't care about what Cotto is doing as Floyd will dictate and Floyd will dominate.

I cant remember a time Roger was just over hyping lil Floyd. He has even said before the fight where he came off a long lay off that he looks good but not at his best.

I know, I said what I said before everyone tries to come in and says that Roger is hyping Floyd. Roger never hypes up Floyd.

pre fight talk dont mean ****- no matter who its from. that being said though- i do think floyd is extra focused, going into prison, people scrutinising him, plus cotto being a credible foe. think we ll see a great floyd- but i wouldn t shift any opinions based on what a trainer says, ever.

    Interesting coming from Roger.

Although presented with a challenge by Cotto, he doesn't necessarily need to be. Rather hear this before fight(s) against... Other fighters, later.

He didn't mention this alone. Someone visited the Mayweather gym and AZZked about the emmanuel fight. Roger May said this in passing.

Floyd is about to do time soon. He needs to do some big boy ****, so he won't fade away from the public's minds.

Ariza was in the corner of Chico that fight too, interesting connection.

I thought Floyd would look really good for this fight. Remember he was coming from a 15 month layoff before the Ortiz fight. After the fight, he still went back to the gym right away to train and has been training since last July. Now he's in another training camp and he should look good.

I had worries about his age, but him constantly training may negate that. They mentioned in the Mosley training camp, how it was the best they've seen him and it's a similar situation to this one.

Agree with all those that think its down to activity. But still, he is 35 years old and has been training since he was a kid. Lots of wear and tear in the gym alone even if he isn't taking shots to the head.

If there is one thing Roger and Roach agree on, it's that you can't be a "part-time," fighter and be at your absolute best. But Floyd gets that "Special" card and people allow it to slide.

As far as Floyd being like his youthful self like he was against Chico...I doubt it. Maybe as good as he can be at this stage in his career but back to being what, around 24??
Have to wait and see on that.
