Do you mean this literally as it sounds? He boxes better? Or you think he stands a better chance than corrales did? I am of the opinion that Corrales had a lot more steam and momentum when floyd and him fought at 130. he was also way younger and as a result greener.

Cotto, i think is the better technical and a freakishly stronger fighter.

I think that corrales had a better chance of beating mayweather though. Timing, age, momentum, styles. These things all work against cotto i believe.

Money is looking to make a statement and that would be to beat the brakes off Cotto.

Technically? I would not be surprised. Physically? I seriously doubt it. PBF physically was at best below 147.

Then again, I think Cotto will be easier to break down mentally, than Corrales. Even if Cotto is a better technician than Chico.

If PBF can punish him early it can get ugly.

One of the good things in his favor is that he takes care of his body, always walks around at fight weight and he does things like play basketball in the summer leagues and stuff. I see Floyd as a very preserved 35 year old boxer at the end of the day.

I disagree. Just like B-Hop, Floyd takes care of his body and hardly ever gets hit. He'll be fresh until at least 40.

I think Floyd might be in danger of peaking too early, after seeing him go so hard at the start. Probably not though, they're experienced enough to know when to lay back and allow recovery.

Well Roger is expected to say stuff like that, still I'm hoping for an excellent showing as always from Floyd.

I've always wonder these things with Floyd :think
Sometimes I wonder if he's overtraining or just a really hard working with a high threshold. They were still training even the Thursday before the Ortiz fight.

I think his body has gotten to the point that he does have to sweat a little to make 147.

Gotta agree with Uncle Roga age ain't nothing but a number. Maravilla and Marquez are proof of that. You have at least 5 fighters 35 or older as the p4p kings. Just because an aging fighter is slightly slowing down or slightly past his prime doesn't mean he won't have his best performance yet.
