    Fair play, mate. I wouldn't have risked the Algieri one and plenty of people saw that Khan 7-5 so it was somewhat in the balance.

    Obviously sounds like your strategy pays off in the long term but have you ever lost big on a 1/12-1/20 favourite? Must be pretty painful! Or is the trick that you pick your spots with a very high degree of success? Always interested to hear different people's strategies.

    My motto is that I need to be 100% certain when betting over £1k and the three above were risk free. Would never back Khan to win with that glass jaw and there is not many around capable of out pointing him.

    I fancied Linares last night as well per the other threads but not enough to risk serious amounts of money.

    I don't lose many bets and the secret is to be selective and be sure. The same goes with the football, golf and cricket.

    Eg Motherwell v Rangers was never going to be 0-0 today.

    Keep it simple - no point climbing to the top of a large tree risking a nasty fall when there is plenty of low hanging fruit at the bottom.
