I want to go, if it takes £95 I'll pay it. They won't be selling out fast at that price I wouldn't have thought.

That said the semi's will be good, 1/4's too as they are effectively for a medal

You know this shouldn't surprise anyone. The prices for these olympics were always going to be laughable.

the boxing is usually on of the best supported and many sessions sell out. Well, the organisers have sold out this time. 95 quid for the cheapest seat at the finals is a joke but if you look closer you'll see boxing isn't alone.

It could be worse, you could like beach volleyball, swimming or diving. top price is 450 compared to 395 for boxing.

Who is going to pay 185 for the mens football final at wembley. Wimmens 125.

There should be a boycott organised for all events.

DeGales deal is supposedly worth £1.5million over 3 years if he keeps winning. He will have got a signing on bonus and then a minimum guarantee each year which will probably go up each year.

If a fighter like Stalker or Callum Smith from Liverpool win a gold medal, promoters will know they have a 10,000 seat arena to fill along with the TV intrest.

If someone like Ogogo who is from London, wins a gold medal in London he is going be commanding millions.

If Anthony Joshua, again from London, win the Super Heavyweight gold medal at the London Olympics, he could command a deal worth over £2million. He would probably be the highest paid fighter in there professional debut in the history of the sport.

Hit the nail on the head right there it is a once in lifetime opportunity for most people that's why it will sell out regardless of price. It's like if England get to host a world cup some people will buy tickets to get to as many games as possible regardless of whose's playing it's a once in a lifetime thing for most people.

The seats will sell. Whether it's to someone who doesn't know a boxing glove from a 400 metre hurdle and doesn't care because it comes complete with a nice meal and their comoany's main supplier is paying, is another matter.
