Damn how the hell is it possible that Beibut is already scheduled for 12 round fights AND fought a complete 10 rounder this early in his career!?

His handlers are not quite taking things easy here! Maybe they are afraid Kazahkstan might turn into a communist regime soon and want to make the most money now that they still can(?).:p

On the mid-long/long term this could mean a short career for Beibut, ala Vargas (unless he keeps ending fights early).

In other news Beibut will return to the ring on august 15th in Kazahstan vs TBA in a 12 rounder.

Chop Chop Corley will fight on the undercard again.

Hopefully Comcast sends Bob Sheridan there and films it like last time when he was very impressive stopping the 14 lb heavier Mitchell.

How about this guy Campillo, who beat Garay?

Can Shumenov get a fight with him?

    A good calculated risk.

I doubt he can get one.

Don't doubt he could beat him though.

I seen him once vs. Aleksy Kuziemski of Poland.

That was a really good fight.

Shumenov is dreaming about getting a title fight. Being independent on the market is hurting him very bad and he even stated he has flaws and he doesn't want them to be shown on television. He's fighting even better opposition than Gamboa in his first 10, but the Cuban had a very smart promotion behind him and that's a huge difference. In just 12 months in the pros, ALL of boxing, fans, promoters, managers, experts, everybody wanted to see Gamboa and everybody wanted a piece of him.

Beibut Shumenov... about 90 hardcore fans know about him and he does nothing to validate his performances to the audience - which means fighting on TV.

If you're not on TV, you don't exist.

    yea zir.

that was a good fight wasnt it? especially for a Am fight. I really enjoyed it. Shumenov won imo too but Aleksy made a good case for himself and kept it competitive.

Except Griffin and Mitchell that is the only fight I've seen him.
