They can get it back. Matthew Hilton was one of the best. And wasn't Michael Olajide also Canadian? two good fighters in the 1980s.
Andrade is such a likeable human being that he gets fans wherever he fights. Of course his style of fighting probably has something to do with that too. I'll be cheering for him against Tsypko so he can at least get a rematch that he deserves with Bute. Anyone from Montreal going to see Holt-Bradley? I'm seriously considering on seeing it..
the producers of the show have agreed to co-promote Ross for the next 12 months. Before that, he was with Hennessy Sports Canada, but left them due to disagreements. Here is an article from yesterdays Toronto Star about Troy, includes a video: http://www.thestar.com/Sports/Boxing/article/590940

Bradley/Holt/Andrade/Tsypko gala in danger!!! http://www.rds.ca/boxe/chroniques/270542.html Choko found out that Showtime wouldn't televise Andrade/Tsypko so he wants to renegotiate the $250k US he owes the promoters of Bradley and Holt. They haven't got the money by the deadline that was set and the whole gala is in danger of not happening in Montreal! Still, I'm sure it will sort itself out. :good
Tickets for the Choko gala are also not shifting at the expected rate, it was found out. More seats have been sold for the Interbox gala already, for example. Choko was aiming for a full house of 21k seats. Interbox has sold 10k... ...bad news for Choko...and Montreal...but, again, I think it will sort itself out.:good
http://www.cyberpresse.ca/le-soleil...eut-defendre-son-titre-mondial-au-colisee.php If Bute beats Zuniga, Interbox are looking to organise a second voluntary defence, in Quebec City, for the 19th of June. Showdown against mandatory challenger is planned for October, if that is still on the cards.
