Yes I think he could if he fought Lewis the same way he did with Wlad. He was in retreat mode most of the fight.

If he was panicking against Klitschko he'd have been crapping himself against Lennox!!

 

If Mavrovic, who is similar in size to Haye but with noticeably less power, could withstand all the rounds, then theoretically Haye could do it too.

 

I suspect that when Lewis realized what Haye's game was, he would prosecute the fight more aggressively than Wald did.

 

Haye was off balance all the time after throwing swings against Wlad.
Those mistakes would leave him open to Lewis uppercut.
Hayes glass chin shatters within 4-5 rounds.

 

The problem with drawing any comparisons to that fight is that neither Haye nor Klitschko were fighting like they were out for blood.

 

If Haye insulted Lewis like he did to Wlad then Lennox gets rid of him quickly,
no messing about.
Lewis,if anybody really annoyed him,could be very nasty.

 

I agree,Fergy. Haye would have more than likely gone into panic mode leaving him wide open for Lennox' power punches.

 

This. If Haye runs all night he has enough speed and guile to avoid the worst. Lewis was at his best when guys came to him.
