Éverton dos Santos Lopes is a 5'8 27 year old Lightweight with 3-0 1 KO record. Born in and fighting out of Salvador, Bahia, Brasil. This Brazilian Gold Medalist has several Gold and Silver Medals as an Amateur, from the 2011 Baku World Amateur Championships and 2 time Olympian has just signed with Oscar De La Hoya. Let's hope this talented kid is a step up from the average Brazilian bum, and certainly seems like he could be. Dare I say I see vague shades of Mayweather when watching Lopes, He's ripping over the Philly Shell, his punch selection is accurate and fairly sharp, and he has fast hands although that's where the similarities end. In spite of decent defense he gets tagged a little too much for my taste, but at least he's a tad bit more entertaining than most fighters who utilize that style.
