Round 1

Arce is circling and batting down Gonzalez's southpaw jab with a rowing motion of his left. Gonzalez tries swirling his glove around the wrist of Arce, locking hills and partying it away. Straight right hand by Arce, Gonzalez down. Gonzalez is dancing around, skimming the ropes with his back. Arce pursues, bandy legged and wide stanced, lunging with jabs and rights from outside.

Nick Arce with his excellent body punching style has earned a huge local fan base for a 5-0 guy without much amateur career to speak of.

They are called "the Marching skulls" and they come to his fights in uniform, making lots of noise.

Gonzalez scores a looping left on Arce while circling away from him. Arce gets in close and nails him with a left on the ribs as they wrap up. Gonzalez takes a knee and the full clunt. The commentators think he's complaining about kidney punches. Turns out he is having back cramps/spasms. Weird.
