    Round 1

Nice left hooks by Delgado. Lizarraga is hurt and backing straight up, standing tall, pulling his long neck away, head sitting directly in the path of more hooks from the stalking Delgado. Lizarraga is flicking out stay-away jabs as he desperately scrambles clear of Delgado's unhurried but unrelenting march.

    10-9 Delgado

    Round 2

Delgado is coming in, arms held out with palms facing the floor, shooting his fists out to catch Lizarraga's wild alternating uppercuts in the cup of either hand. As he gets in closer Lizarraga switches to poking at his face with a jab, and Delgado adjusts by lifting his gloves in a tight shell. Delgado is mixing in some hard, accurate lead rights thrown from the chest, snapping and bobbling Lizarraga's head. Lizarraga doing lots of clinching. More solid left hooks dropped in consistently by Delgado on Lizarraga's temple but only grazing as the lanky recipient ebbs from range.

    10-9 Delgado

    20-18 Delgado

    Round 3

Delgado is sort of taking a breather, not focusing on doing tidy work, just following and lunging with the lead right. Lizarraga is doing a good job bouncing around him on his toes and walking him onto counter flurries, jabs along the ears, and short prodding rights from angles. Delgado just allowing Lizarraga to move and pot shot, and eating light shots although none seem to bother him.

    10-9 Lizarraga

    29-28 Delgado

    Round 4

Delgado is still in his fog, although he is landing the left hook again, blasting Lizarraga with it early and eliciting oohs from the crowd and causing a violent jerk of Lizarraga's pencil neck. Lizarraga is dancing around Delgado and popping jabs, then moving forward to flurry into Delgado's face and managing to actually force him backward.

    10-9 Lizarraga

    38-38

Lizarraga's favorite boxer is Marco Antonio Barrera, the commentators say - and he fights nothing whatsoever like him.

    Round 5

Delgado is making an effort to be first, shearing his way in with the emergence of a jab shot up into Lizarraga's face, and followed by straight right leads or big left hooks depending on which direction Lizarraga bolts. Delgado is forcing exchanges on Lizarraga and his superior power and punching mechanics are telling over the busy yet sloppy and feather-fisted Lizarraga, who is visibly stunned and made to hold multiple times.

    10-9 Delgado

    48-47 Delgado

    Round 6

Delgado is whipping hooks at the body and leading with it up top as he chases after Lizarraga. Occasional flurries by Lizarraga falling in on Delgado with the endgame of smothering the shorter man in a clinch. Delgado is succumbing to clinches when he lacks time for evasive maneuvers, but swerving when there's enough space and countering Lizarraga with the right hand. Lots of jabs, lashing rights and slapping hooks by Lizarrag, spraying leather at Delgado in the hopes of intimidating him. Delgado just stands in and bangs him with hooks to head and body.

    10-9 Delgado

    58-56 Delgado

Ronny Rios is wearing a headset and being interviewed by the Golden Boy crew (Doug Fischer, Steve Kim, and Beto Duran).

He says his previous opponent, Sergio Frias, is better than his record and was actually more difficult than Jayson Velez. :!:

Only the co-featured eight-rounders are left on the card now.

I believe the first shown will be the showcase for Chimpa González - brother of recent IBF super bantamweight world title challenger Alejandro "Cobrita" González Jr., both sons of 90's WBC featherweight champion Alejandro "Cobra" González (who stopped unbeaten Kevin Kelley and had wins over Stevie Forbes and Orlando Salido)

Scratch that, actually. Negrete's first, and demoted to a 6-rounder. Chimpa in the main event.
