    Conceição flitting side to side, peppering Valdez with pot shot jabs and then falling in to briefly hold & release when ordered. Conceição hooking off the jab from mid-range, playing matador and weaving under Valdez's lunging shots. Crowd booing, growing very restless and hostile. Valdez unable to cut the ring off effectively. Conceição able to raise both arms straight overhead while dancing around, then fold them down to shield himself as insurance while making Valdez miss with nonstop movement.

    10-9 Conceição, close and negative, but Valdez will get it from the judges for being the (ineffective) aggressor.

    If Valdez gets a gift decision here then his rep will be completely ruined. He'd be seen as a drug cheat aswell as a protected fighter.
