Thank God for boxing because Teo would be lost without it.

Looking forward to this on a small level, surprised there isn't more interest in the card as a whole.

How is this one not the co-main event?!

A world title bout subordinate to a 10-rounder, and the people in the latter aren't even household names? Why?

    RD 1: 10-9 Nakatani

Just outboxed him from the opening bell and even hurt Acosta.

    Round 1

Nakatani pawing the right jab, lulling Acosta before looping a left around to smack him in the gob. Acosta is circling away carefully, ducking and rising, showing a left jab. Nakatani preserving range with his long jab and dropping into deep knee lunges to hurl body shots. Acosta hurt BADLY with a sudden left that drifts out from the hip several inches prior to flipping up like a dolphin breaching the surface.

10-9 Nakatani, already had the round in the bag and then nearly dropped his man.

Big round for Nakatani, I thought Acosta would bring more.

Tito's nose is OBLITERATED. He was already in dire straights here, and now has a honker full of plasma. This won't end well for him. I'm guessing it ends within 4-5.

edit: hell, forget that, won't even come to a KO, it might get stopped on the nasal damage now, halfway into R2...

Yeah he probably can't continue; that oozing just isn't slowing.

Very sharp start from Nakatani + he looks about 2 weight classes bigger than Acosta who is bleeding badly from the nose.
Unless Acosta can land a hail mary here he will be overwhelmed

Better from Acosta but Nakatani is just too accurate. He did tag Nakatani late but too late.

    Round 1 Nakatani 10-9
    Round 2 Nakatani 10-9

Acosta's nose is a bloody mess.It looks like a spigot. Nakatani destroying Acosta, he almost goes down along the ropes. The doctor takes a look, the doctor says a vein might be cut in his nose. Acosta arguing saying he wants to fight. The ref lets it continue, to see if teh corner can stop the bleeding. The doctor tells him to avoid getting punched in the nose. Acosta is going all out, throwing a barrage and in the process, eating a barrage. He manages to rock Nakatani late.

Timmy dip****, the doctor says a vein is ripped in his nose. That's a little more severe than a goddamn broken nose.

Damn near two consecutive 10-8s for Nakatani.
