Good to hear. So that means everyone that scored it for Robson was right, even according to you.

Care you explain how I'm embarrassing myself? Rounds 1 and 3 were objectively close and highly competitive. Your stance is that those were clear no-doubt-about-it Conceicao rounds? I don't see it. Round 3 Conceicao was rocked by a fantastic right hand and the rest of the round was very even, Valdez landed some great shots and was blocking well throughout the round. Round 6 you said was close (as opposed to a clear Conceicao round) but really that was a pretty clear Valdez round imho. At least you recognized that Valdez did better in the 6th.

He blew a big lead that he had going into the second half of the fight, because those body shots were slowing him down a little, allowing Valdez to put pressure and get off some shots. I thought he won, but what can you say. I thought De La hoya beat Tito but he blew it as well by running in the last quarter of the fight. Same as robson.

No, you like most everyone else went into this match looking to score rounds against Valdez due to the failed drug test. IsaL and myself's judgement was not clouded by a failed drug test or anything that happened prior to the opening bell. Judges can't take biases into matches.

How close were rounds 1 and 3 in your estimation? In your opinion, is there anything wrong with me scoring those rounds for Valdez?

I thought Robson swept the first 5 rounds. He outboxed Valdez, and he just couldnt adjust early on. I didnt see the first 5 rounds being that close tbh. Maybe the 3rd round was a little close.

Rewatch Rounds 1 and 3 and pay attention to Valdez's blocking. He was picking off most of Conceicao shots. Conceicao hardly landed any clean jabs in round 1 or round 3 but the commentators were making it sound like he was. Almost all of Conceicao's jabs were blocked and Valdez landed the harder body shots and power punches. See my punch summary in post #518 and if you think I'm describing anything wrong in these rounds, let me know. I'm always open to criticism.

In Round 3, Valdez landed two big right hands in the first 30 seconds that stunned Conceicao and nothing that happened in the rest of the round could offset that moment. It was a very even round aside from that big moment from Valdez. Again, high level blocking by Valdez throughout the round preventing Conceicao from landing clean shots. Valdez did more damage in round 3.

Now you could make the argument that Conceicao won 4 of the first 5 rounds, maybe even all 5 of those rounds, but I think that's a pretty big stretch. Rounds 1 and 3 were good Valdez rounds and far from clear Conceicao rounds by any stretch. People really need to pay attenton to blocking, ring generalship body punching and the scoring criteria instead of just giving rounds to Conceicao for pumping a jab into gloves and because people were rooting against Valdez for a failed drug test.

I intend to rewatch it, to see if anything changes. Scoring it live, i had robson winning 5 of the first 6 pretty convincingly imo

How many feints did Valdez land in the first and third round? Why is it nobody else can see them?

Rounds 1 and 3 were objectively close, and there's no getting around that. It's embarrassing for anyone to claim those were clear Conceicao rounds.

    Feints don't "land", they "happen".

I always respect your opinion drenlou, I could see how watching it live you could have the first 5 rounds to Conceicao. I don't think there's anything wrong with seeing it that way, but after further review, I concluded that Rounds 1 and 3 were won by Valdez but very close imho.

I definitely scored it with no bias. I didn't care who won.

Looking forward to seeing how you scored the 2nd half.

One thing to note is I don't score blocked punches. Concecaio was throwing a lot, but the vast majority of his punches were blocked.
