The more I think about it the more Valdez's "I suffered enough" line pisses me off. Exactly how have you suffered? You weren't fined, you weren't suspended, you weren't stripped, you 'won' your title match, and your 'punishment' is among the lightest wrist slaps I've ever seen.

 

You got Rounds 5 and 6 right, just focus on Rounds 1 and 3. I did a punch summary for those rounds in post #518 for reference. Pay attention to Valdez's blocking in those rounds, and who landed the harder cleaner shots. Close rounds but Valdez got the better of him in those rounds imho. Stiff jabs, flush body shots, ring generalship (feints in round 3), stunned him with the biggest punch in round 3. You'll see.

I've never held that against Ortiz. He was taking a beating and essentially beaten into submission. Refreshing honesty, honestly.
