Patrick landed the cleaner shots, including a few flush hard lefts, Adames with the better body work, Patrick with more consistent jab.

 

Not even remotely close to a wild coincidence. But thanks for reminding me, I really wanted to see this fight, and had forgot all about it until tonight.

Carlos landing counter looping hooks to the body slipping Patrick's left, still Patrick landed a lot, but the less effective work.

All Carlos in the third, he dominated with thudding body shots, amped up the pressure throughout, then landed some brutal thudding bombs up top, Patrick while rocked a few times, took them well.

Patrick still hanging tough, but starting to take a beating, a cut has opened up over the left eye of Teiseira, Adames pounding him to the head and body non stop, rocked him several times again.

The whole round was tit for tat with Adames doing the more eye catching work, Patrick landing more consistently, it was up in the air until Patrick launched a salvo for the last 20 seconds and nicked it.

Brutal round for Patrick, Adames feeling the sting from the beating he received at the end of the 5th came out to take the play away, and reassert himself, by the end of the round patrick looked like he had stigmata, he's now bleeding profusely from both eyes, he looks like he's crying blood.

Things looking bad ear the mddile of the round for Patrick, whose now taking a vicious beating, his head flying up like a pez dispenser from the uppercuts, but then a huge momentum shift as Patrick unloads a huge fuselage of punches, one of which stuns Adames, he follows up landing bombs until a huge left hook lands and Adames' knees finally buckle and he goes sailing backwards and onto his ass, he barely makes it back up, saved by the bell.

Adames is still out on his feet, Patrick is landing in combination backing him to the ropes, Adames cobwebs clear a little, starts firing back massive hooks and uppercuts, he gasses out a little, his output drops, Patrick goes back to jabbing, he wins the first and last minute to edge it.

The 9th a fairly dominant round from Patrick, he's sticking and moving, and occasionally when Adames has him cornered Patrick lands in combination, a few nice looping hooks and straight lefts.
